Normal website requests still happen
Loading the website requires ordinary network requests for HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The hosting provider may process standard connection information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, request time, browser information and requested URL.
Metadata removal has limits
Newly encoded outputs do not copy the original EXIF or GPS container, but visible content remains visible. Faces, documents, landmarks, reflections and text inside an image can still reveal private information. File names can also reveal context unless they are renamed.
Your choices
- Review every output before sharing.
- Keep original files backed up separately.
- Use a metadata inspector when the risk is high.
- Do not process confidential images on a device you do not trust.
