What the published reference run measured

In the balanced 100-scene Brave 150 run, WebP at quality 82 produced a 78.2% median saving versus the same-scene PNG baseline. Category medians were 92.8% for photo-like detail, 54.1% for interface/text, 83.6% for transparent graphics and 72.4% for flat illustrations. Results describe one browser and device, so representative production images should still be tested.
